The Dulles P&DC Branch of Local 305 proudly serves Mail Handlers across northern Virginia.

Our trained staff and dedicated stewards work hard to protect our craft, uphold our contract, and support each member’s individual concerns. Wanetta Morgan-Hooks

Branch President

Wanetta Morgan-Hooks is the Branch President of the Dulles Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC) in Virginia where she represents approximately 202 Mail Handlers, 122 are Union members.

Wanetta has been employed by the Postal service for 26 years and has been a Union member for 15 years. She has been a Union Representative for 12 years and served his union as a Shop Steward and Chief Steward. As Branch President, Wanetta's responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring the National Agreement is followed and enforced. Also, ensuring that the Stewards in Dulles, herself included, have tools and training needed to serve the members.

Wanetta believes that every Mail Handler deserves proper representation and that Mail Handlers joining the Union enables the Union to have the support and resources to continue to provide representation at the highest level.

Marvin Simpson

Virginia State Representative

Marvin Simpson is the State Representative of Virginia for Local 305, where he performs such duties as assigned by the Local President for the state of Virginia. Marvin has worked for the Postal Service for approximately 29 years and has been a Mail Handler Union member for 27 years.

Marvin became a Union Representative approximately 15 years ago and during those years he has served the local in a number of capacities, Shop Steward, Judge of Elections, Branch President, and currently is an Arbitration Advocate, Contract Attack Team Member, Local 305 Trainer, and a member of the Local 305 Task Force.

Marvin believes that overall, the Union's purpose is to help people, assist them at their most vulnerable moments. Without a Union, employees would not be treated fairly and with equality.
