The Rocky Mount, NC P&DF Branch of Local 305 proudly serves Mail Handlers across the Rocky Mount area.

Teresa Wiggins

Branch President

Teresa Wiggins is the Branch President of the Rocky Mount Processing and Distribution Facility (P&DF) in Rocky Mount, North Carolina where she represents 32 Mail Handlers, 12 of whom are Union members.

Teresa has been employed with the Postal Service for a little over 28 years and became a Union member shortly thereafter. She began representing the Mail Handler craft in 2014 when she became a Shop Steward and years later became the Branch President. Her responsibilities include but are not limited to protecting the Mail Handler craft members and ensuring Management is abiding by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Teresa believes that a Union should always look out for their members' best interests and should make themselves available to the membership any time of the day or night as she does for both her members and non-members.

Cynthia Brown

North Carolina State Representative

Cynthia Brown is the State Representative of North Carolina for Local 305, where she performs such duties as assigned by the Local President for the state of North Carolina. Cynthia has worked for the Postal Service for 28 years and has been a union member for all of those 28 years.

Cynthia has been a Union Representative for almost 20 years and has served Union members in both New York and North Carolina. During those years as a Union Representative, she has held numerous positions, as a Shop Steward, Lead Steward, and in addition to currently serving as the State Representative of North Carolina, Cynthia is also a Chief Steward and an Arbitration Advocate.

Cynthia believes that the Union is there to enforce the National Agreement, and as a Union Representative she believes in doing her due diligence to protect and defend all dues paying members.
