Timothy "Tim" Farmer

Branch President

Timothy "Tim" Farmer is the Branch President of the Roanoke Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC) in Virginia where he represents a little over 100 Mail Handlers. 

Tim has been employed with the Postal Service for 28 years as Mail Handler and has also been a Union member for 28 years. He has actively represented his Union as a Shop Steward, Chief Union Steward, and now Branch President for 10 years. His responsibilities as Branch President include but are not limited to serving, protecting, and representing the Mail Handler craft employees within his installation. 

It is Tim's belief that a strong Union enhances better working conditions, better pay, and more benefits for each and every Mail Handler.
