Maurice Wallace
Branch President
Maurice Wallace is the Branch President over three facilities in Fayetteville, North Carolina: the Fayetteville P&DC, Fayetteville Annex, and the Fayetteville P&DC Annex, where he represents 197 Mail Handlers across those three locations.
Maurice has been employed with the Postal Service for 29 years and has been a Union member for those 29 years. He has been a Union Representative for 28 years. As a Branch President, Maurice leads and manages union activities at the Fayetteville P&DC Annex and PSA Annex. Some of Maurice's responsibilities as Branch President include recruiting new members, representing the current members by enforcing the National Agreement, ensuring safe working conditions, and filing grievances when Management violates any of those two.
It is Maurice's belief that the Union gives the workers a voice; the Union ensures fair treatment, due process, and enforcement of contractual rights. The Union is the first and last line of defense and without the Union Management would have all of the power.
