John Turley

Branch President

John Turley is the Branch President of the Charleston Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC) in West Virginia where he represents approximately 121 Mail Handlers.

John has worked for the Postal Service for almost five years and has been a Union member the entire time. In his short time employed with the Postal Service, John has made an impact within the union by serving the membership as a Shop Steward then being elected to the Branch Presidency where his responsibilities include organizing and educating the members while also advocating for their rights and interests. John also ensures that the National Agreement is implemented and enforced while maintaining an efficient operation of Union activity within the branch by facilitating and presiding over Branch Meetings.

John is a firm believer that "there is strength in numbers" and that the Union provides a platform for workers to advocate for their rights, improve their working lives, and contribute to a more just and equitable workforce.
