Darryl Manigo
Branch President
Darrell Manigo is the Branch President of the Baltimore General Mail Facility in Maryland where he represents approximately 279 Mail Handler craft employees. He also represents Mail Handlers in Annapolis.
Darrell has been employed with the Postal Service for almost 37 years and has also been a Union member for almost 37 years. He has vigorously represented the Mail Handler craft members as Shop Steward, Chief Steward, and now as Branch President for a total of 20 years. His responsibilities as Branch President include but are not limited to enforcing all 39 articles of the National Agreement and conducting investigations to determine whether violations of those articles exist. Darrell is also responsible for overseeing the 7 stewards in his office and their grievance activity, and he hosts Branch Meetings to ensure the union members are informed.
Darrell strongly believes that all Mail Handler craft employees should become members of the Union. The Union in only as strong as its members. The more members the Union has, the more power the Union has because there is strength and power in numbers.
