Local 305 represents Mail Handlers in Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia (with the exception of Wheeling). Local 305 currently has nearly 2,900 members. We have nine executive board members and twenty-three council members. 

Our goals are to promote quality representation of our members, foster equality, and advance our motto which is "Our Members are Priority!". We have a dedicated, well trained staff or arbitration advocates and we seek to educate our members by educating our stewards. We remain focused on protecting our craft, policing the contract, and on the individual needs and concerns of our members on a daily basis as we continue to strive for excellence.
